Mumbai's Men tell us who's on their mind and why on Women's Day

Sunday MiD DAY got inside the heads of 111 men, and figured that the Mumbai male knows his priorities well. All respondents were between 20 and 40 years old, working professionals and entrepreneurs. Each of them was asked to pick from a list of 18 women across 12 categories. Here's what we got.



Most Marriageable: Chitrangada Singh, actress, 20% votes

The most marriageable woman from our poll was Chitrangada Singh with a maximum vote percentage of 20 per cent. Fifty five percent wanted to marry the Hazaaron Khwaishein hottie because she sounded like the most loyal woman on the list. Forty-five per cent of the men thought that their families would really take to her.

Who has more than 20,000 followers on Twitter, was the second best pick with nine per cent votes. All the men wanted to marry her because she too seemed to be the most loyal.



Border Force: Priyanka Gandhi, political heir, 23% votes

Who could convince Pakistan to sign the peace pact with India? Pretty Priyanka Gandhi beats activist-writer Arundhati Roy by a slim margin of 1 per cent here, with 23 per cent picking her to broker peace with our neighbour. Arundhati roy is next in line, with 22 per cent.

Last Marriage option: Ekta Kapoor, tv mogul, 87% votes

Ekta Kapoor scored the highest here. Thirty four per cent of men would pick her as the last option -the maximum number (87 per cent)would choose her for her bank balance and 13 per cent said that marrying her would make them look good.


Actress Kareena Kapoor came next with a lowly 11 per cent also for her bank balance more than anything else. Size zero doesn't matter.u00a0



Fantasy Material: Priyanka Chopra, actress, 31% votes

Priyanka Chopra topped the list with 31 per cent. PC, felt 71 per cent men had a great bod and 29 per cent think she's the fantasy girl because they felt that she'd have some super tricks to show off in bed.

Actress Chitrangada Singhu00a0 was a close second with a total of 23 per cent votes. Fifty eight per cent of the men liked her for her great bod and 42 per cent felt that she would have great skills in bed.



Loving mother material: Vidya Balan, actress, 28% votes

This one's a big surprise. Wonder if the winner here would really want to take the motherhood trophy home. Vidya Balan scored highest here with 28 per cent votes. A whopping 90 per cent men felt that her body language screams 'Mom'. Blame Paa. Ten per cent felt she looks like she could crack the whip.

TV actress Smriti Irani came second. She is bang on going by the TRP ratings of her most famous show on TV. Smriti Irani won 11 per cent of the votes, with 83 per cent who thought her body language said it all and 17 per cent who felt she could be a firm mommy.



Most Intimidating:u00a0 Arundhati Roy, activist, 94% votes

Height and grey matter have always been touchy topics with men. Our voters picked author/activist Arundhati Roy as the most intimidating woman.
Director Mira Nair came second.



Oneu00a0nightu00a0stand stuff: Kareena Kapoor, actress, 34% votes

Bebo tops this list with 34 per cent votes. Twenty nine per cent wouldn't even bother with a second fling.u00a0

Tennis player Sania Mirza came second surprisingly, with 14 per cent votes.

Best backpacking buddy: Priyanka Chopra, 18% votes

PC topped this list as well with 18 per cent votes. Of this, 85 per cent of men thought she "spelt adventure".u00a0
Sania Mirza was the next choice with 13 per cent votes with 80 per cent who think she makes a sexy girl scout.
